PA120.3 uneven heat problem

I have a PA120.3 mounted vertically with the fittings at the bottom. The bottom 1/3 of the radiator is way hotter than the top 2/3. Is this normal? Is it possible for water to cross over in this design without reaching the far end of the radiator?

Re: PA120.3 uneven heat problem

there is a thread somewhere in the forums about heat loss/conductance in multiple fan rads... what you are expiriencing is normal... each block away from barbs will have less of an effect, thus warmer near barbs. No, your dual path will not do as you suggest, only a single pass.
