# Bearings : The MAG features dual in fluid bearings, using the best material available, jewels. These bearings are made of highly polished Sapphire.

# Leak Proof : The MAG has no shaft seal, eliminating the possibility of leaking occurring due to long term seal ware. The stator assembly has a plastic barrier between the rotor and the fluid operating on magnetic coupling.

Based on these comments on the webpage i would assume so. Similar to previous MAG descriptions

Re: csp mag 3?

I hadn't planned on running any tests before installing as I need my server back up & running Friday night. If time permits I'll see what I can do.

514 L/hr @6" head using 18" long X 1/2" ID ClearFlex tubing on high flow 1/2" barbs on inlet & outlet

Pump runs quiet & cool after short 1/2 hr test

It had a few burrs on the impeller & in outlet housing that needed to be removed

Outlet housing only has a 6mm ID opening at bottom of threaded section. Look at outlet barb in the 3rd picture @DD & you can just make it out

I'll update again after its installed

Re: csp mag 3?

Minor burrs, 3 in housing, 8 on impeller, very easy clean-up

No complaints as its an inexpensive pump, glad they didn't put a "Void Warranty" seal on the pump body.

Even after clean-up I still got some black plastic flushed out of the pump upon testing, glad I didn't install it in my rig first

Replaced my Hagen 110V/11watt - 217GPH - 60" max head with the MAG II 12V/8watt - 150GPH - 97" max head pump

I've seen no change in my system temps, still runs 34C idle, 40C full Prime load

Looks like the Aquaxtreme WWLE block does perform well with higher pressure, lower volume pumps.

The pump is very quiet at this point, time to volt mod my 120mm fans to tone them down a bit.

I'll update again in a few weeks or sooner if a problem arises with the MAG II

Regards, Szandor
