Snap as web server

OK, it's me again with another stupid problem, but...

I am using my snap as a web server. I told it to use a different index.html file than the normal snap page and it has done so splendidly. Here's the problem. My navigation buttons for the web site are javascript. When I click one of the buttons to go to the next page, I get a 404 not found error. When I look at the address bar, I see this: http://www.blah.com/page.htm? The snap is putting a ? at the end of the URL! If I manually delete this ? then the page loads. The ? is not in my code, and the page works fine locally in FrontPage. Heck, it even works if I open Internet Explorer and open the page locally. Doesn't work through the web though. ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :hammer:

Any ideas?

Just because you were able to install JVM, doesn't mean its running. (Basic 101)

Check to see if jvm started up?????

And did you do a reboot after loading JVM?

Hmmm...did a little digging on Adapwreck's web site...seems as though it will only serve up the index.html file properly and won't do the java stuff by design. Looks like re3dyboy was correct. Another Adapwreck cripple. I'm still gonna play with it though.

BTW, I moved the web site to another server, and it works fine there. BASTARDS!!!

How did you start the JVM?

My 2200 does not support it due to memory restraints.

I found these cmd in debug:
Quote:

java Run Java class with arguments

jvm engine enable/disable
license {ADD/UPDATE/INFO} [{id} [{key-high-mid-low}]]
ram (megabytes of RAM for JVM process)
stack (Kbytes of RAM for JVM stack)
ssl on/off
Knowledge is dangerous in the wrong hands, help fuel the fire.

Re: Snap as web server

When you install JVM on a 4100 it puts a SnapExtensions link at the bottom of the config page. You just click on it, and then start up JVM. The snap then reboots, and you are off to the races.

Installing JVM also puts an "enable SSL" option on the web config page.
