Even though the "tap" has bling, a full open port ball valve would offer far less restriction. Just a thought.

Where'd you get those amazing alum fins that fit over the copper pipe?
I'm considering buying some 1" copper tube to somehow make my own fanless rad. Working out how to attach fins to the tube seems to be the trick. Edited to add: just noticed your text, what's a hvac shop? |

If you truly are unsure:
HVAC= Heating/ Ventalating/ Air Conditioning The aluminium fins come preattached to the tubing, it's called "fin tube", used in hot water radiant heating systems. Very common in the States, come in 1/2,3/4,1" commonly. |
