Possible Power Consumption Issue

I have a 4000 unit with 4 - 250GB drives in a RAID 5 configuration and was wondering if the power supply is capable of supporting these drives consistently? I only ask because I use the unit to store backup data and dont want to overload the unit. If someone has experience with this and if it should be okay, let me know.

Thanks,
JdK

We have had a thread going on this very subject. It seems that 250 GB drives are fine, but 300 or more seems to be pushing the limit. As long as the snap makes it through drive spin up, when current consumption is at its max, it should run smoothly. I'll see if I can dig up that thread for you so you can read it for yourself.

Thanks a lot jontz! It is used for our buisness backup of files for 3-4 months and don't want to put things on a unit that is not stable. Any information would be great.
