Best Radiator for this job..

Which would be the BEST radiator which could fit in the top (or anywhere in) the Antec SX1030 case?

Also..

Which is currently the BEST reasonably sized radiator for a 172watt peltier (may go 2x172..)?

Get a big momma! You can buy 'em at caseetc (assuming they're not out of stock again/still). I fully recommend this radiator. http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif

unaclocker: What about that new BlackICE PC Radiator? Its *SUPPOSEDLY* able to dissipate 300watts of heat. Now that is good! I would order 2 of these http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif. And if you see in the [H]ard|Forums, the Radiator Box is being worked on already!

i would do either a black ice, big mama, or an extra long 4x4, all 3 should be able to fit behind the front panel of you're sx if you mod the plateing behind it, the front vent is perfect for the 4x4 and you can stick a fan right there or do a duct to either side.

well.. actually im going to purchase a YY-00221 server cube case, simply because its compact, and has two chambers, with big space. I have the option of a SUPER huge "super black" radiator, like those featured by overclock-watercool, and the ones in DH3. Dimensions? 11x7. Any good? For the YY case?

Im going to be getting a new YY0221B case too. I plan on mounting a Hayden 5 1/4" x 11" radiator on the top running from back to front. Big Mommas are nice, but case etc needs to get a smaller version, something thats not out of a semi tractor trailer

I looked at the YY cube, but realized it was kinda small. I found a Chenbro Net server case. It was about a $100.00 more, but nothings to good for my baby. It's 14" wide x 16" tall x 18" deep. Have plenty of room for a 9" x 6" ford heater core.

I have looked at the smaller Radiators (4x4) like the "Black Ice" and such. They can definately make your life awhole lot easier when it comes to install. Personally, I prefer the option of future expansion. I want to ensure that if one day I do decide to go Pelt that I have a Rad that can do the job. I also wanted to maintain some sort of budget. So, rather than spend 70-80 bucks on a Black Ice, I felt the Big Momma was more appropriate both in cost and in expandibility (50 bucks). However, prior to purchasing I stolled down to the local auto parts store (Trak Auto) and asked to see all of there smallest heater cores and tranny coolers. Lo and behold the smallest heater core (The standard Ford heater core)looked just like the Big momma both are 7 X 6 X 2. Well that was the lucky winner because it cost $16 plus 3 for the brass hose nipples that I soldered on to make my very own BIG DADDY!.
So, back to the subject I would recommend the auto store first and just ask to see there inventory. You may find just what you need at a fraction of the cost.

Helpful post anyway. :)
