need a later version of the OS for a snap server 2000
 

Greetings,

I recently picked up my second snap server 2000 and would like to upgrade it to a later version of the OS. Where can I download a copy of 3.4.XXX or later?
The first unit I have is running 3.4.790, where as the newest unit is only running version 2.1.340. Would someone PM where I can obtain a later release? Both units have version 2.0 bios's already.

This requires purchasing entitlement through Adaptec. Below is their communication regarding this issue:

The Snap OS 4.0 is available via a software support contract only which can be purchased from our online store at http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/_common...v_sftw_sub.htm for $225.00.

Thanks. I was aware that Adaptec was charging an upgrade for version 4.X. These are getting used at home in a Unix/NFS/OSx/XP environment so 3.X that I have on the other one seems to work fine. So what we would be looking for here is a copy of 3.4.XXX again. Is this considered an upcharge from adaptec as well? I was under the impression that 4.0 was the version that there was a cost associated with it.
