New member :) few Q's

Hi everyone,

Found the forum very informative thanks :)

Have a couple of questions about my setup.

My pump died yesterday so I'm expecting a new one in the mail today now I had an odd set up in that the hot water was flowing through the pump then res then rad then back out to comps. Could this be what fried my pump? If so I will need to make some changes today to change the flow direction.

And last question :) I am using 10mm pipes between 2 120mm rads the pump and the res but then I have 10mm to 1/4" splitter that goes out to my components then both my cpu and gpu back into a single 10mm pipe using another splitter. Is this a good way of going around things? My temps seemed fine being in the low 40's with my 8800 GTS core/mem overclocked and Quad core cpu running at 3.4GHz.

I'll put up pics once I fit the new pump today :) Thanks

Not very likely the water temp broke the pump. That is the same route I always used. Water coming in from the rad is only a C or 2 higher then when it comes out. What kind of pump was it?

If that setup works leave it be.
