MaxAttach 4100
I inherited one of these units.
It posts and appears to function. No drives...so I threw in quartet of 20 gigs WD eIDE drives for testing. Looks like I need a piece of softward called......MaxNeighborhood and maybe another, not sure. Yah...I did the google thing....nothing but spam and fakeware sites. Does anyone have experience.....thanks. |

If it's running the snap OS, yes. Know a little about them.

It appears to have previously used a Win2k NAS os.
I have read that some people are sharing images of the original CD install disk but I have yet to get a e-mail response. Others suggest the CEntos blue quartz OS and also a version of Free Nas. More twidling to come. |
