Waterblock to recommend for 3.2 GHZ Cpu and GPU

Hello members. I have some questions on waterblocks and what are some good choice waterblocks for duo core processors? Im looking for a good waterblock to used on my game case mod. I have a Xbox 360 that I plan to water cool in it's own custom made case Im working on. The case is going to be made of translucent Acrylic.

I thought about just a good copper heatsink but I would like to make the case compact but well cooled without the bulky heatsinks of today. I hear watercooling is good though I cannot find anything to compare it to heatsink temps? Is watercooling better than heatsink? What would you all consider is the best cooling for todays high powered CPUs?

Sofar I know the Xbox 360 has 3symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each. So Im looking to keep the Cpu and the GPu cool enough to room temp as close as possible. The Xbox 360 has weak solder points so when it get too hot the system has the RLOD. So my plan is to keep the solder cool as possible. So can anyone here recommend a good waterblock with very good results?

well any decent block would be fine. I'd say even a video card block would be good. Maybe a maze 4 or apogee at the MOST... you don't need a lot of cooling, you know.

i'm not sure how much you're willing to spend but swiftech has combined the Apogee and the MCP350 pump
at $85 the block is almost free

the apogee doesn't focus cooling in one tiny area like the storm which should make it an ideal candidate for cooling your tricore

like ben said; you will probably get sufficient cooling out of any old block - i don't know the heat dissipated by the xbox

you might try using a large heatpipe/heatsink combination like this or this one
both are very good and can be very silent

Maybe something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835114013
You can use a small drill and tap holes to mount this to the xbox main board and its quite easy. I just recommended a cheap copper heat sink that LOOKS like it can do the job. Take a visual compare of the stock heat sinks and get something bigger, copper or with heat pipes. I'd actually look into U1 server heat sinks. Back to water get the cheapest block you can that won't leak and I honestly think you would be fine. jman I assume is referring to the apogee drive (yes i'm too lazy to check the link) and I think thats a good idea unless you want a lot of exposed hose and the technical look. Answer this: for looks or dose it really need good cooling? The way I see it, the xbox can not be over clocked so its a matter of getting it stable which can be done dry and for cheap.

A conventional CPU heat sink or water block will probably not work right. The X-Box has 3 cores that need to be cooled and they are not together.

Anyway here is a few links to some premade water cooling kits for the 360 and a article at [H] doing their own project. Just search google.com for more info.
