Sorry can't help you there. The snap image file contains Copyrighted material. Which is illegal to distribute.

I can't quite understand what your asking. If you want a bigger hard drive then maybe use Ghost to move the bin from the old drive to the new?

The factory has a special setup to load clean HD's on the 1x00 and 2200 models. This software is not released to the public. The image file was a hack to work around this. Depending on how your hd failed, controller card or media. You may are may not get the boot tracks off it. In most case if it will spinup, you have a chance, my replacing the controller card with a know working controller that matches yours. If it fails to spin, sometimes the freezer trick works. It always better to find a working unit and copy the boot tracks. Sometime users sell Hd on eBay with OS installed. But the 1x00 and 2200 are uniqe to the. The only 2 models that use a std boot loader. If you able to get as little as 15 meg you can boot a snap far enought to reload the OS.

I'm not sure what you are tring to do. If you tring to create a image file, you must use a drive image program. DO NOT INSTALL IN A WINDOWS PC and BOOT Windows. If you ALLOW IT TO TRY TO MOUNT IT, YOU WILL LOOSE EVERY THING.

Some early 1000 had OS in flashram. Most do not.

Please read the FAQ's at the top of the threads, a quick link is in my signature. There is also some info in the wiki section.
