OMG if they come, i'm bringing SOOOOOOO many friends to try and score as many as I can... well more or less just to secure one for myself... The more i bring, the higher the chances I have.

Kevin 10-11-2001 06:04 PM

DEAL. Remember the key is to pay a homeless guy $20 to drive it back...

There were 10,000 people at the one in Seattle, probably more because they cut off the line right around 6am.. It was NUTS.. Indescribable how many people were there.. The sound system just wasn't designed for that many people, I was in the middle of the crowd (I think, I could see just as many people behind me as in front, but I couldn't see the back of the crowd), and I could barely hear them callin out the numbers on the raffle tickets.. My ticket was number 7,004.. Closest they got to my ticket was 6997 and 7007.. Harsh closeness.. If I had brought 2 more people with me, one of my group would have been 7007.. Ahh well.. I'm more determined than ever to get one now.

Hmmm... I still think my warpaint idea MAY work :)

Una I believe they always cut it off at 6am. They did at Philly. And no you wouldn't have had 7007. The numbers are mixed up. OcPunK got a ticket right before me and his number was like 5000something mine was like 8000 something

Sled_Dog, I think they ran each city differently each time, slightly adjusting their design for the larger amounts of people ach time... I'm not sure on that though.

NEW YORK man, come round the Big Apple and spread some post-WTC XP goodness around...

pHaestus 11-03-2001 01:09 PM

I think that there are NY state laws that prohibit this sort of giveaway.

Hey some of you were in Philly? Too bad I didn't know we could have tried and meet up...
