Hey everyone ... i'm a bit of a Snap Newbie, but I am a recent convert and I have fallen in love with my m4400.

I know there is a lot of hardware expertise here, but what I hope to bring is some high-end software knowledge.

I've been working with the 4400 for a few hours, and i have already done some pretty jiggy things with it, most of it has to do with VMWare ESX server. So, if you have questions about that, let me know and I'll see what i can do to help.

Don't let him fool you with his "for a few hours" comment. He is a Software/IT guy with plenty of knowledge in those areas. In fact, he and I spent some time talking about using our Guardian Snap Servers with iSCSI today.

Welcome aboard. Anyone with knowledge on these Server or software the integrates with them is Highly welcome. I do not think many of us (home users) are running iSCSI.

if there are any IT workers with these things at home, iSCSI makes it possible to build / test / work with microsoft clusters, which most of the IT guys i know consider an essential skillset if you want to call yourself an engineer.

I am considering setting up one of my Snap with iSCSI now. I am just waiting for you to get it all tested (benchmarks etc) and written up here. :D
