Snap Server M4100
I have a snap server M4100 at our Church as the main server. The power supply went out of it yesterday and just found out that Adaptec has quite selling parts for this model.
I have a new server to go into it's place, needed to do it sometime back, but now I'm forced to. The question I have is will a regular ATX auto switching power supply work just to get it up enough to get my data from it or will it fry the snap? Thanks for the help! Kevin |
Re: Snap Server M4100
It's done quite often on the 4000 models, you just need to know how to wire it in. If the current one has enough power to run the cpu, use the ATX for the drives.
Remember only a snap can read the SnapOS drives. |
