Unable to view Files and Folders after Reset of Snap 4100
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
I was having issues with our Snap Server (4100) polling the Users/Groups from our Domain. It was working for a while then suddenly stopped. So I did a reset on the Snap Server of all Settings. I saw and read this wouldn't delete any files/folders (Network Shares) After resetting and reconfiguring the Snap Server. I have been unable to see the Files/Folders I had on it. The polling of AD's Users/Groups is working now. But I can't see any files/folders. I know data is there as the Raid Container reports the same amount of used/free space and files prior to the reset. The Snap Server did a disk check and rebuild after the reset was done, but this didn't do anything as far as recovering my old Network Shares. So right now I am wondering if there is a way to recover/see my old Network Shares. Maybe it's something simple I'm over looking. Thanks for the help. |

Does it work with out the AD?
The SnapOS is not compatiable with VISTA. So Vista pc's should have NO access to the Snap. It has a tendency to mess things up. I assume you are running Raid 5. My suggestion is leave it on. After a file system check it can take over an hour to mount the drives. |
