Does it cool your CPU and GPU fanlessly already? Thats pretty impressive, what temps are you getting? I wouldn't waste my money on a steel harddrive block... You can't overclock a hard drive and they usually don't get too hot in a well vented case so I wouldn't bother watercooling it. If the pumps have different flow ratings I think its possible they can damage something so you'd probobly want to replace the one you have or add an identical one. For quiet and powerful I'd recommend a mcp655 but they are a bit pricey.

Yes, I too am very curious about what temps you are seeing with a heavy load (Orthos, small FFT) on your system.

I think THIS will do the trick...

Be aware that HDDs dissipate most of their heat through the sides, not the top/bottom.And some recent testing (on very large server systems) has indicated that, so long as temps are within the manufacturer's spec, higher temps result in longer HDD life.

...because I will have a 120mm fan blowing some fresh air on it.

Why would you want a fan blowing on a watercooled component. I think that would be kind of useless.

So what I had in mind now was to add in an extra pump. Just a very small one,

Be aware that all pumps add heat. You'd be better off just replacing the existing Zalman with a larger pump. There are many posts on many watercooling forums about modding the Zalman Reserator.

Zalman > CPU > GPU > New Small Pump > HDD > HDD >

When you add a pump in series with an existing pump, where in the loop you place it has no effect. Put it anywhere you like.

...and welcome to Procooling

Measure your current water temps before you spend $100+ on HD blocks.
