SNAP Server 4500 - Active Directory
Hello all. Here's a problem that's been stumping me for a few weeks:
I'm running a SNAP server 4500 (GuardianOS v2.6.05) that's a member of an NT4.0 domain. I've built a trust relationship between this NT4.0 domain and our main Active Directory domain. I've tested it out, and the trust works fine between the two domains. However, the users/groups from the Active Directory DC do not display in the Security->Share Access screens on the SNAP server. Is anyone familiar with accessing user accounts from multiple domains in GuardianOS? Is this possible? Would adding the Active Directory DC info to the 4500's Host file do the trick? Or am I just grasping at straws here? |
Re: SNAP Server 4500 - Active Directory
I'm sorry I do not have any knowledge when it comes to AD. And your OS version is very old too, which may impact how things work.
But in general yes, you have to tell it which servers to get the info from, and the same goes for the server. |
