Cable for SnapDisk 10 to 4500

I need a SCSI cable to link a SnapDisk10 expansion unit to a 4500. It looks like a female-female version of the VHDCI / UHD 68-pin cable (normally male-male). The real thing costs $200! Any ideas on reasonably-priced alternatives (especially in the UK, but US may be possible).
thanks
Jezzer

It's not a SCSI cable. It's actually and 4ch SATA.

AHA!
Is it obtainable anywhere else but from Adaptec/Overland?
If it had been SCSI I could have used gender adapters (prob VHDCI to H68) and worked it out that way. Given that SCSI is just pin-to pin wired, might that work anyway?
Otherwise it sounds like I am stuck, for now.
Thanks for the info. Any other leads gratefully received.
regards
Jezzer

I'm still trying to find the little 18" cable to connect my 4500 to a SnapDisk10 expansion box.
If anyone has any idea where I can get one, I would be grateful.
Most of the sites I googled are just aggregators or "rare part" suppliers or out of stock.
Anyone?
tnx

Re: Cable for SnapDisk 10 to 4500

I have a request to pin mine out. The problem is that I need a header connection so I can see the contacts. My eyes are not what the uses to be. I opened mine up thinking I access the wires there, NOT. They have sealed and cover up all the wires, so I need to find some (2) headers to do this.

Once I pin it out, and I find that's straight through the SCSI may work, but I would not take the chance of damaging a $$$ card and expansion box with the wrong cable.

Update, I have confirmed this is a special cable, NOT A SCSI.
