Quantum 70700042-01 Shuts Off

I have the Quantum 70700042-01 and it has recently begun shutting down on me frequently. It won't stay running. When it shuts down, I need to unplug it for a few minutes to get it to startup again. I've removed the cover and cleaned it (blew if with the Office Duster compressed air). Both fans seem to be working fine, so I don't believe it's overheating. Any suggestions?

What model is it 1x00, 2x00, 4x00

What you describe is a thermal problem. You may have fried the thermal grease if so equipped.

Power Supplies can also cause this.

The unit has four (4) Harddrives. What is "thermal grease"? How do I know if the unit "is so equipped", how would I have "fried it", and what do I do if I've "fried it"? How can I tell if the Power Supply is bad?
