Snap 4100
Hi,
Im looking at a snap 4100 on ebay at the moment and before I take the plunge and get on, can anyone tell me if it will still work ok? I have a PC runing windows 7 and also a media extender connected to the tv. All I am bothered about at the minute is wether the extender will be able to see the snap 4100 ok and that I can write to and from it with the pc... Thanks Chris |
Re: Snap 4100
Well I stuck a offer of £60.00 quid on it and it was accepted so I just hope I havent made a mistake - time will tell!

Re: Snap 4100
As for Windows 7 working with the Snap Server M4100 it will, I am running both of them on my network and using the snap server as my backup device.
I don't know about the extender seeing the 4100 but I know windows 7 will. Another thing to consider, no one has been able to break the 130GB max hard drive limit on these particular snap servers so you will be limited to a maximum of 4x130gb's when up and running, or 4x120gb drives for a total of 480gb's |
