M4000 Dead

I have an M4000 unit that will no longer power on, and unfortunately has all the photos of my baby on it among other things I'd not like to lose.

At first I thought it was the power supply, but I'm not sure anymore. I have voltage coming from the main part of the power supply going into the smaller power junction board I'm going to call it. 5v on the red wires and 8v on the yellow (is that right? i was thinking it would be 12v).

I've tried using an ATX power supply to provide 5v on red and 12v on yellow to that junction board, but I still get nothing when i try and turn it on.

The issue occured after trying to turn the unit back on after my power was out for a day. Any help would be great.

Well, nevermind, I guess both of the power supply boards are bad, bypassing both I've just gotten it to power up.

PS have a history of failing on 4000 units. Glad you figured it out.

I have one here with a bad power supply, I like them cause they are quiet and I assume don't take as much power as the GOS snaps but the 1TB max is a bummer.
