ABIT KT7-Raid FSB
Ok I don't know alot about the newer equipment outside specs, but I thought athlon's had a 200 mhz front side bus? Can someone please tell me why 200 mhz is not a option on the kt7 motherboard? I ahve a 900 mhz athlong, and 4.5 isn't an option for a clock multiplier? I'm confused guys.

Well cause an athlon has a 100Mhz bus thats DDR to 200. so data can be sent on the rise and the fall of the clock, not just on the rise of the clock like on non DDR communications.
so everyMhz you increase on the athlon bus you are increasing the total speed 2 Mhz worth of data. ------------------ C-ya Joe - Owner/Editor www.ProCooling.com Where the Completely Addicted Come to Cool Off Somebody set up us the bomb. |
