Papst made their fan too good for mod!

So I rip open an old 80-92mm Papst fan only to find out they built the thing too good. Unlike the cheap Thermaltake fan on this page( http://www.nairn.freeserve.co.uk/mod1.htm ), this fan doesn't have a removable ring...Its built soooo good that the fan's plastic body is actually attached to a giant metal cup! Them german's build stuff good in every area don't they :)

But I'm still gonna see how to do this with this fan since I already ripped it open or mod some Nidecs I have.
