help guys
Hey,
I have been struggling with this for a couple of months and I've just about had it.I have a second machine that my kids use, its a BP6 with 196meg and a celey 366 @ 550 with a alpha cooler and win2k. I bought a hercules 3D Prhphet 2 MX and now the machine locks up when in either TFC of Q3F I have rebuilt this thing like 3 times and for awhile the problem will go away but about a week after the fresh install it will play for awhile then just lockup.Sometimes they play for aver an hour before it locks and sometimes it as soon as the enter the game. and sometimes it will run all day in the game. as long as they dont play game it never fails.Oh and i exchanged the card once allready at comp USA...... help |
Try underclocking the video card and putting the celeron at default speed. Also, what kind of psu do you have?

PS is a Antec 230w came with this gerneric case i bought at the puter show
