Windows 98 SE install... help me!
I got the Windows 98 SE upgrade. I have a fully legal version of regular windows 98 on my system. When I try to install the update, it tells me that my product key is invalid. Don't I use the product key that came w/ my original windows 98? Not working... argh. I'd call MS, but my new Windows SE upgrade ain't so legal if you know what i'm sayin'. ;).

1 (800) 936-5700
1 (800) 936-5800 You can call either number and you can tell them that you have the upgrade and you cant get it installed and that you lost your original w98 and cant find the product ky. just let them know that its installed on your hard drive and they might provide you with a bypass code    next time dont use warez unless its full version |
hahaha! sometimes you have to trick "upgrade" software into thining it is upgrading something...as in copying a ms word directory to your hard drive then installing.
Try copying a windows directory to your drive and then upgrade. |
I got it all fixed. Someone just e-mailed me a key and it worked :).
