Dual power supplies operated by main switch

Can this be done succesfully...
I have a requirement to run two power supplies in by box. I want to have my 300 watt ps to be utilised by the mobo/cpu and associated mobo fans, then I want to use another 250 watt ps for hd's, cdrom, dvd, larger case fans and other hardware.
My requirent is that the main power switch be used to turn on and off both power supplies. Can this be done and if yes is there a chance of damaging any hardware.

Kan vera smart å koble til "power OK", frå den andre PSU'en også.

Forgot myself, I did write it in Norwegian.

It can be smart to attache the "Power OK" from the other PSU.
