This is the funniest thing I have ever seen, and the worst part is that the writer got this thing to kick a Geforce 2 Ultra's butt.

its funny, but 400 Mhz??? I am sorry I know people who super cooled their TNT2's and NEVER got that high, or even near it. a Super Orb with Masking tape all around it isnt near as effective as a water block and a pelt.

I dont know whether to believe it or not. But I am pushing closer to the "padded" numbers theroy here.

Somebody set up us the bomb.

I think he managed to get higher results than other peoplke because he used his "ghetto" heatsinks (read heatsink article the video card article links to understand) to keep the ram more stable. that may have been why his worked where others failed. But this article still is a touch tough to swallow.

Umm the people I knew had big HSF's on their ram and a cooler on the back of the card as well as the front. they couldn't get any where near that!
