How do these work? I know multipliers unlocked but is there a trick to running them?

well, if you're lucky enough to have an unlocked chip, the BIOS of your board ought to have a multiplier option! just fiddle around with that and the FSB (try setting the fsb to 100MHz and changing the multiplier till ou find the right value)

got a PII 333 which has no mult.lock
running now 100x3.5 (just serving.. no gaming) |
