Conformal Coating Heat Problem

Is it ok to coat the entire backside of my mobo with silicone conformal coating? i heard it traps in heat.

If you are going to cover the entire mobo may want to look into a High Voltage Urethane coating like I used for the DoubleHeader 2 project (take a look if you havent) stuff worked great!

Not that you'd be able to do this, but it's neat. I have a friend who works at Sun, and he told me about some next-gen cooling tech they're trying. They're gonna start coating their entire PCBs with diamond! Don't ask me how...vapor deposition? Anyway, that would be a dream for me. Cooling the whole board, and sealing it at the same time!
