any one had expirence with these vendors? they both offer an abit kt7-raid and a duron 700 for about $215 shipped, it's the best deal i've seen so far.

allstarcomponents.com has good prices, no doubt about it. Their service sucks IMHO. It took them a WEEK (Count, 7 days) just to process and ship the order!! (Two PIII 650E's)

Don't know about AllStar but according to resellerratings, MicroBarn is a VERY good place to deal with...according to resellerratings....not me.

Personally, I don't make any major purchases if the vendor is NOT even listed on reseller ratings unless it's extenuating circumstances. I figure if the place is good enough for me to buy from, they will be well known enough in the community that they will at a minimum be LISTED on resellerratings.
