First post, VAPOCHILL question.
 

Hey hey! First post, but I'm a regular over at the [H]ardforums, on a 30-day suspension for yelling at a newb because he attacked another newb...anyway, I'm building a watercooling system, and I thought...maybe I'd go Vapochill:



Question about Vapochill...If I buy this case, it would be my cooling solution for QUITE SOME TIME...I mean, I can't see stuff getting much cooler...my question is...Late this year, when the Hammer chips come out, they'll be using a new socket...right? Now I want to know if there's a way to just buy something to fit the Vapochill to different sockets (i.e. Will Vapochill retrofit mine? Is there a company who can do that? Will I just have to jury-rig mine to the chip, and is that possible?)...if there is NO WAY to make a vapochill fit a socket it was not originally intended for...then no chillage for me!

Also...does anyone know what the best price on a vapochill is? Or does anyone wanna sell theirs?

well, they have vapochills available in slot a, and slot 1, as well as socket 370, socket a, socket 423 and socket 478.

They will be doing one for the Hammer, but I have no idea about retrofitting your one, or modifying your one. might be best to send them an email.

Even still, they mightn't be sure simply cause they won't know the specs of socket-hammer
