Where can I buy clear PVC?

Does anyone out there know where I can buy 2" clear PVC and end caps? I live in New Jersey (USA) and have checked both Lowes and Home Depot and no dice. I have also contacted a couple of local plumbing suppliers and they don't carry it either. Any other suggestions, either local or online?

And yes, I am making an air trap for my water cooling setup, in case you were wondering.:D

www.mcmaster.com has them too, one of those sites might be more convenient due to shipping issues

Hard to match

Yeah I tried my hand at making a airtrap like Turbokeu's, but I couldn't find any parts like his. Where tubokeu lived they didnt have Lowes or Home Depot. Later I'll post some pics of mine, but right now I am having digi cam problems.

Here is my airtrap, didn't have any space for a big one in PVC.

It works really well since the copper parts has an ID of 14mm.

It's zip-ties, I used them since they look a lot cleaner than hose clamps.

Brad 01-13-2002 06:23 PM

hehe, they look very good, but I'd use another colour for them personally

I only had yellow, red and blue left and since they are hidden behind the pump I choosed yellow :D
You can't see that they are yellow when the green light is on anyway...

Brad 01-13-2002 06:31 PM

hehe ok, I use yellow or some other colour for temporary work, for anything permanent, I use black or clear

[dannzig] 01-15-2002 01:44 PM

seems like a really good idea to put a airtrap in after all... ill be building myself as soon as possible....
