Streaming Video Q

As indicated here:
http://www.cakemusic.com/news.html

My all time favorite band, Cake will be having a webcast concert. Free. It's at 11am PST. That's 2pm EST (my time)
I am at school till 2:10 and don't get home to 2:40.

That sucks! I wanna see the concert. I'm assuming it's a Real Player gig.

Is there a way I can tape the concert?
Like is there the equivelent of a Real Player VCR?

If this illegal any against the ProCooling rules, I'm sorry and I'll delete the post if I need to.

I simply want to see the concert.

Thank you in advance

I doubt you'd be able to just record it, unless you were there and told it to start recording.

unless you run task schedular

Techguy 01-14-2002 04:46 PM

how would I record it if I were at the PC?

Brad 01-14-2002 06:27 PM

surely it is in part of the software package

Techguy 01-14-2002 06:55 PM

I don't see it anywhere in real player 8.....

Nope realplayer doesn't allow recording of streams... I think there are some hacks out there that lets you do it though.
