big momma and black ice
Hey,
I'm planning on putting a internal watercooling system in my antec 1030- is there a considerate performance increase in the big momma vs. the black ice? has anyone successfully put a big momma in this case or a tower case like this- if so where did you put it and the fans? |
Iam getting the black ice radiator, i have heard it performs really well.

Well, I am not sure about either as I have not yet tested either personally, but I would think that the Big Momma would perform better. Both radiators seem to be of the same design, the Big Momma is just bigger, which would probably allow it to cool better. The nice thing about the Black Ice is that it's small and still cools well.

I have a Lian-Li PC12 that I intend to sandwich a BlackIce radiator between the Enermax power supply and the 5 1/4" drive bays to be sucked out through a 120mm blowhole. The Mamma is too big to fit in there, and as we all know, heat rises! ;-)

Its all about how much heat you want to move, at like 300watts the Black ice and the Big momma are the same above that and the big momma starts to pull away as it is able to dissapate more heat.
