172 or 156 watt pelt what PSU?
Would http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...m=PS-550&type= that work? oh and whats the best place to get a pelt from?
|
That depends on what pelts you use. That only puts out 144W on the 12V line. If you can run your pelt off the 5V line then you are set, that gives out 425W. Since these add up to over the 550W rated for all outputs I wouldn't go near these figuers. That's also not including the other outputs.
PS Damn that's cheap! Edward |
if you want to run at 15v pelt, buy 3 of those and run it off the 5v line, you could use like 5 of them
24v pelt, buy 4 of them to run the pelts at 20v |
Could I get 2 of them and run a 24V pelt? And are there any hot to's on hooking up the pelts in line?
|
you could, but it would barely run a 172w.
hooking pelts up inline is easy, red to black, red to black, etc |
But that would be better then a 156watt at 12V right?
|
yes
