Gemini Cooling?

Hey folks,

Does anybody know anything about Gemini Cooling? I'm not horribly attached to their line, but that video card cooler looks pretty darn nifty. I love how it cools the memory as well as the GPU. Every other block I've seen only covers the GPU.

Unfortunately all of the other items I plan to use are copper, and to the best of my knowledge mixing metals isn't such a hot idea. Still, I'd love to know if the thing performs well.

I emailed him and he said that he was working on a copper prototype for the video cooler. He said that if demand was high enough he'd make it a permanent addition.

So voice your support for the copper Vid cooler block!

i also emailed him about his blocks only having a 3/8" channel. He gave me this long response about why the 3/8" will work just as good as a 1/2" (i was asking him to offer the block with 1/2 fittings) I will post if peeps want me to.

as far as I know their graphics card cooler is the only one which allows you to cool both ram and gpu without taking up extra pci slots, which gives them a big advantage. I have no idea however what the insides are like, but it is still an awesome idea, and it appears to be well executed

only issues i had was with the materials, and the size of the tubing. some of thier stuff uses 1/4" id tubing....thats seriously small.

yeah i dunno what's on the vid cooler.. thought it was 3/8".... dunno

The Aluminum sinks are approximately .5 thick when fully assembled. The fittings are 1/4 inch with a 1/8NPT thread. If desired, a 3/8 fitting could also be used.

from thier website.
