Proper way to fill system

OK... finally got everything inside my computer and I'm ready to fill this up. My question is must I submerge the pump in a bucket of water to fill the system? I have a resovior and could use this to fill it right?

OK.. well

I got it to fill up with water!!!!!!!!

On the return from the CPU block I can see a stream of air bubbles going to the radiator. I have taken both the CPU and video blocks and moved them around, shakening them to get the air out of the blocks. I figure these should go away after the system runs for a few hours.

How long should I let it run with no equipment installed. My plan is to run it for two-three hours first and then put in the motherboard and stuff like that. Sound right?

try to get all the air out first, once you've done that, connect it all together, then run it for a day or two, making sure you check it every so often (if you have a small leak, the drop's may evaporate)
