Enheims loud?
How loud are the enheim pumps? And what do they sound like without being submerged?

they dont sound like anything =)
mine makes NO noise unless you are right next to it and it is inline (eheim1250).
they DO vibrate... but they vibrate silently... i would imagine that if you just bolted it to your case it might make some noise... so just use rubber or foam to pad it.... they are the quietest pump you can find
