I found this on a German website and it kicks ars! Now the goal is to find out how to get one shipped to me in the US!!!!

Anyone have any info on this and IF it can be shipped to the US?

LOL.. you guys are funny. This is an custom made res. You can see the machined acyrlic and custom plumbing. I don't mind paying for something if it's already complete!

I got this from the amdmb.com forums under the cooling topics.
The guy who posted is MVD but all of the links he gives do not have information regarding this product. He also shows some pretty cool looking waterblocks from Germany. Good stuff!

COOL, I love those blocks, I should mention that I also have an acrylic body block with a copper slug type of block in the works. Wish I knew how to flame polish acrylic, as the blocks I am using have been scratch up over a few years. None the less, it is good material to do the proto typing.

those blocks look cool, but they must inhibit flow rate quite a bit

looks like he needs a bigger pump.. the fluid in the block doesn't look very evenly distributed.... to see what i mean look at pic4

I don't think they could have found smaller fittings. They look 1/4" at the most.

I was actually looking at the block, the barbs never occured to me. still, now looking at those, that block must really kill flow rate

Those blocks might kill flowrate, but they kill heat like its going out of style too.

My system, after getting things together, runs about 9C over ambient under full load now with that block. It rocks!

they arent wire ties, they are plastic ratchet type clips that dangerden sells

Those blocks kick ass. You can have them with 3/8" and neat retention mechanism. They beat just any other waterblock on the scene, including Maze2.

The owner is a cool dude, i had no problem ordering stuff from him, he answers the phone and emails, and speaks both German and French (i don't know about english). He warns you about delays as well...

Well it would be cool if they had an english version.

And if those blocks are the best then someone over here needs to start thinking about making something like that. :D All that looks different really is that there are lots of little slots for water to run through fast and cool each little bit of copper quickly and that is probably what matters most in watercooling anyway. :shrug:

Instead of one path, the water is flowing through several in a direct line while cooling it all off at once and then goes out of the block. Pretty efficient I guess. And at the same time the fact that a little water cools all of the copper also helps out the radiator since it needs more time to cool the same water. :cry:

mx-6, yes, you are right there, lots of surface area, but I'm still worried about the flow myself, maybe if the slots were a bit bigger i wouldn't be so worried

But you have to think, the water coming out of the radiator should be cooler since the flow is slow. And even if the GPM is 1/4 what the Maze2 is, every part of the block is cooled in one quick pass. :shrug:

So are you saying they will ship to the US? I would love to get that resov.

i converted the Euros to USD, that res is like $60!! add to that the shipping costs (if they even will ship it), its just not worth it... make one yourself, or buy locally.

is that a CNC made slug?
how can you get a round bar with slots cut into it that thin.. and accurate?

Brad: They're not all in 1/4" NPT you can have them in 3/8" as well. Most german WC kits are sold in 3/8" (10mm) anyways.

Look at how he is holding the block to the board. Looks like eyelet bolts with plastic wire ties.

Also the circle is prolly cnc machined but the groves are most defonitly saw cut. Could still be a cnc saw, but U would break endmills that small trying to cut that copper.

I think that he used them because the mounting kit is only for AMD and judging by the Dell motherbaord, those or P3's or P4's.
