need opinions on which radiator because of mounting purposes...

Ok i got an antec 1040b case. I will be getting some cool stuff from germany (resivour and some connectors maybe a pump, blocks etc.) but the good radiator they have there is too long for my case. I was thinking of putting in a black ice radiator and toss 1 120mm fan as an exhaust on the fan manifold. I would mount it in my antec 1040b and have the fan exhaust out the right side (if you were standing in the front of the case facing it). Does anyone else have recommendations?

another concern I have is mounting the fittings on the radiator. they use a plug and cool system. It looks similar to a tubing system i used on my paintball gun for those familiar with paintball it looks like macroline. seems as though the hose is 8/6mm and use quick switch fitting to hook in the hose. I could solder the connectors onto the radiator but do you think that could pose a problem? seems as though they have the connectors mounted on the eheim too but I would buy a pump here in the US.

So overall. Do you think the black ice is a good radiator for overclockers with space concerns and do you think I would have trouble soldering conectors to my radiator?

the german website is here: www.aqua-computer.de

if space is an issue, then the BI rads would make a good choice (as they offer good performance in a compact package - but you already knew that :P ).
im not sure i undertand what you are talking about when you say "another concern I have is mounting the fittings on the radiator".
mounting what fittings on the radiator?

go here:

check out the pics of the tubing and specifically the connectors on the blocks and pump and radiators. Im not sure but the thread size may be non standard, and I know the tubing the use is non standard, at least from what I have seen.

you can get a better view of the blocks and such at:

I'd get a black ice, and mount it right at the front of the case or on the side of the case. there isn't any other radiator that size that can cool really well. You could use one on the bottom too

Ok, eheim's are pretty expensive, do you think i would be ok just going with like a 300gph rio pump instead? Or one of those pumps made by danner I forget the brand. The rio can do up to like 72" it should work.

Ya i wanted to mount it in the front of the case but turned on it side so it exhausts out the side of the case, so I can still have a bit of intake.

the rio will be fine, much more compact too
