i could make you something like a maze1. $30 shipped if your in the continental USA.
3/8 or 1/2 barbs. it is side drilled and the holes are plugged, giving a spiral water channel. here is how the path goes: http://digitalsimplicity.com/mike/cpublock/path.jpg and here are some angle views of the block: http://digitalsimplicity.com/mike/cpublock/wbside1.jpg http://digitalsimplicity.com/mike/cpublock/wbside2.jpg I dont do too much lapping to these, and as long as you arent afraid of sandpaper you will have to lap them a little. (i just dont have the time to lap a block.) I also leak test these blocks by pumping some high pressure air into them and submerging them in water. any bubbles come out and the block does not pass. my friend is using one of this on his 1.3ghz tbird ocd to 1.5ghz(stable), 1.85v and it performs just about on par with the MAZE2 that was used in the same setup. (BIX, eheim 1250) i also make copper HD blocks with a similar technique if your interested. if your interested email me: digitalsales AT softhome.net edit: hold down plate is not included, but is really easy to make, and only cost you a couple $ to make. (something like a 2"x3" piece of plexy and 4 mini bolts w/nuts is all that is needed) |
Can you make one for a slot A? If so how much?
shouldnt be a problem, drop me an email and we can get the specs down. this should be in the same price range as a normal one ~$25 + 5 shipping
Cool. I'll drop you an email tomorrow sometime. What do you need to know? The length and width of the processor. How would you mount it?
sent ya a PM.
just need to know the mounting pretty much. im thinkin a 2x2 block should fit on there nicely |
