I've been tring to get my water block on my new soyo and for some reason it wont post, im useing four 1/4 20 studs with poly washer that are coated with dieletric grease. this worked fine on my old kt7 but i think mybe its grounding in the mobo holes?anyone else useing though board studs? it runs fine with a normal heatsink and fan but wont post useing the studs and water block:shrug:

yeah thats probably about the only thing it can be. why not use some sheets of paper to act as an insulator, and try that out

good idea, I was going to try to hunt down some nylon studs, but come to think of it I have some heatshrink tubing that will work.;)

Did it work before? Or is this the first time you've tried the board? Try turning it on for a second with the H2O block just sitting on the CPU, and nothing in the holes. Then if you see a picture, shut off the power quickly.
