latest development on coolant

i've gone back and read alot of the past discussions, but came to no conclusions. whats the latest here?

it seemed that the best thing to do is like joe says, distilled + waterwetter, but that doesn't do anything to stop bio growth. some people said to add some sort of alcohol... but is that with waterwetter too? will they mix well?

the trick to stopping growth is NO FREASH AIR. Everything needs O2 to live (unless you go to the bottom of the ocean).

not to be getting all technical or anything, but don't plant/algea kind of organisms that would be in a water line live off of carbon dioxide and not oxygen?

redline should kill alot of life... cmon smell it :D
but a little dash of high concentrate isopropyl or methyl alcohol will help out..
i used a little isopropyl and it actually seemed to stop the water wetter from being absorbed into my silicone..... actually i used alot of the isopropyl.

Look into humidifier biocide if you really want to make sure nothing grows.
