ProCoolers Unite! Bulk Maze3 Purchase

I'm sure a lot of you who frequent the ProCooling forums are itching to pick up a Maze3 from DangerDen. Well, since there are so many of us who want one, I was thinking a bulk purchase would be in order? Perhaps if we place an order of approximately 15-20 Maze3's all at once, we can get the kind folks over at DangerDen to give each of us a slight discount. Group purchases are done all the time and often yield discounts, so I figure why not at least talk to DangerDen about it and see what happens.

Please respond to this thread if you would like to be a part of this group purchase. If we can get 15-20 people in on it, then we'll talk to DD. :)

Haddy 04-05-2002 12:10 PM

hehe im numba 1! sure im in, depending on how much we get off and when this thing will go down....dont forget if u have it all shipped to u that u have to ship it to us which costs $$

DigitalChaos 04-05-2002 12:22 PM

yea the double shipping thing is gonna suck... but why not see if procooling readers can get a discount? thats not any different than just a mass order... they ARE the makers.. not a reseller that is gonna benefit more from a mass order.

first let us know about the price... if its good enough, im sure you wont have a problem getting the people to add to the order.

Brad 04-05-2002 03:23 PM

maybe we could get them to ship to differant address's?

wouldnt that be the exact same thing as a procooling discount?

Mr. Thompson 04-05-2002 06:15 PM

No need for a bulk order discount in my case. Danger Den has been so good to me that I would be happy to pay their retail price.

Psychotic 04-05-2002 10:02 PM

Ugh... I was hoping for a much better response than this. Oh well though, I suppose I agree with Mr. Thompson. The Maze3's are priced quite fairly to begin with. :p

ECUPirate 04-05-2002 11:06 PM

Already ordered mine... :(

jaydee 04-05-2002 11:12 PM

I would be in if I didn't make my own blocks.:p

mkosem 04-06-2002 12:27 AM

I wish I could make my own blocks. hmmm, I do have access to a fairly large machine shop......(dreaming)......

Haddy 04-06-2002 12:39 AM

hehe for 2500 bucks u can do it....desktop cnc owns joo

Fixittt 04-06-2002 11:27 AM

I would never buy a water block. not a DD or any other block on the market. HEHEHEHEHE i think U all know why

Jason-Pro 04-06-2002 05:03 PM

I dont know whats wrong with the normal price i think thats as cheap as they will go. look at what you get and how cheap it is. Im not complaining about that price or gonna try to get a discount cause i think they deserve every penny for that block is really nice.

i just waiting for maze 3-1....................................

dacooltech 04-06-2002 08:31 PM

I certainly agree that guys at Danger Den deserve every penny not only for the Maze 3 but for all their blocks. Believe me, they worked really hard to come up with the unique Maze3 design.

That being said, here's an exclusive offer from cooltechnica.com for ProCooling forum readers, only!

How about that?

Yknow it just struck me that living where I live, paying for the block and getting free shipping would probably cost less than paying for shipping and getting a free block :D

Jason-Pro -"im gonna be ordering a maze 3-1 and 226w tec dunno if from dangerden or from you tho hehe.

Yes we'll have the spare parts, too. Check out the news section of cooltechnica.com. When we get an ETA for the MAZE3-1s from DD we'll post it there.

www.cooltechnica.com

just curious...
how can you sell these blocks at DD's price?
are you just "breaking even" or do you still make a profit?
(hope that's ok that I'm asking)

is your block 1/2 or 3/8? it's not listed (that I can see..)

dacooltech 04-07-2002 06:01 PM

Haddy - "yea it looks like something banged up against it....ill try to get a pic here in the next week (gotta borrow friends dig cam)"
That'll be great Haddy. thx :)

Techguy - First question that you asked is something that I can't answer in a public forum as you can imagine.

For the second question the Maze3 comes with both 3/8" and 1/2" fittings. You can choose the fitting size from the drop down menu here: http://www.cooltechnica.com/Merchant...tegory_Code=DW

FYI if you are already using 3/8" ID silicone tubing, i suggest you to get the 1/2"OD fittings for the block, because the 3/8"ID silicone fits nicely over 1/2"OD barbed fittings.
