Need a resevoir that will fit in 5.25 bay.
I'm happy with the cooling of my system, just not the apearance. Well here's what it looks like http://www.cascadecrawlers.com/YaBB/...s/DSC00329.JPG
Where the hose that goes from the pump to the radiator, I now have a 1/2" tee with a peice of clear vinyl tubing going to the top of my case with a cap on the end acting as a water trap. Well where the tee is at it kinda has to bend outwards and just doesn't look good to me. I was thinking seeing if I could buy a plexi glass resevoir that will fit into the bottom avail bay. I also would like it to be flush with my bezel and be able to watch the water level from the front. If neccasary I could attempt to make my own resevoir, I do have access to plenty of plexi glass. My question is how would I glew it together with what basically? Any websites, or peeps that may make me up one? I can put the holes in it for the fittings in and everything. Any ways my idea for redoing is such. the bottom line that goes from the radiator to the cpu. I would have the go into the resevoir at the 5.25 bay, then from the resevoir to the water block, then water block to the pump, pump to radiator, radiator to res, etc.... I was also thinking of maybe putting in a valve from the line that would go from the bottom of the radiator to the resevoir. Any input is appreciated. Also did you guys know if you dye the water your silicon lines also change color too? I had red dye in my water, then I changed the water and my lines were still red. |
Have you considered putting the res where the space for an 80mm exhaust fan is? It would make for a cleaner loop (outlet from waterblock to res to pump) and you could take full advantage of the res for filling the setup then. As for reses, have you considered something like this:

Although I could actually have that tube run along the bottom and up the back of the case. I was also planning on installing an 80mm exhaust. Now I wish I would have bought the PC70. |

Thanks for the link cyco dude!
I now know what I all need to do this, I'm just going to have to get good with a jig saw. Actually I might just buy a blade for a table saw since I have one. I plan on making my all clear so I can see the water level from the front of the bezel. Thanks again. |
