my first w/c setup up and i have a few ?
do u guys fill your system and bleed it before u install it in your case? or do u mount your water block and then install in your case and then attach your hoses...all i have done so far is put it all together outside of my case and filled it and bleed it and ran it for 24 hours to check for leaks
my setup is chevette rad 1" shroud and 1 120mm panaflo fan maze 3 eheim 1250 pump in a 1040 antec case any advice would be very help full |
depends if u have a airtrap, res, t-split, or nothing.....air trap systems blead thenselfs......res systems are way easier to fill but harder to bleed if the res isnt the highest part of the system......t-split line is kinda a res/airtrap, cause u can fill and bleed from there.......and nothing (system with no bleeding or filling extras) isnt all that hard u just have to do it outside the system......most people test their systems outside their case so there no chance of screwing up expensive hardware from one lil leak....

yes i have the t-split in my system...ill think ill try filling it before i install it in my putter

i have a slide out mobo tray. I installed and ran the cooling system 1st, and then installed everything else (even the PSU). No chance of leakage that way.
|
I install it, fill it up, turn the pump on and let it run for sometime to check for leaks before I turn the computer on
