my maze 3-1 came today (dont know why everybody complaining)
Well my maze 3-1 came today im happy with it. i dont know why everybodys complaining (just gotta wait a week or 2 to order a WB and then its revised) :P
ok well heres pics of mine. http://imagesite.ihelix.net:85/Jason...03-1%20001.jpg http://imagesite.ihelix.net:85/Jason...03-1%20003.jpg http://imagesite.ihelix.net:85/Jason...03-1%20002.jpg |
exactly what my block looked like, just no pelt block.
i dont think anyone should worry about a "bad" block anymore. they are done and over with. you order a block now, you get a good one. that simple |
Now that block looks like a nice piece of work. How's it performing?
BTW thanks for shipping that order pretty quick, much appreciated :). |
i didnt get to use it yet really busy (R/C racing starts in a couple weeks trying to get everything ready and my car done !! )
but i might setup a test for it tonite and put my 226w pelt under it see how good it can cool it :) hehe my case isnt built yet so my watercooling aint in my pc !! this is what my computer looks like now lol http://imagesite.ihelix.net:85/Jason/setup.jpg |
lol, looks like mine (all sprawled out across my desk and a chair)
|
so Jason, is there no cracks at all in it?
|
its clear as glass actually.
|
same here. no cracks at all, even after a decent ammount of tugging done to the barbs
|
i have one crack goint to one of the button head screws holding the clear top on...but its small and its created by to much compression on the o-ring...that and its just to close to the edge...but mine doesnt leak at all and no cracks around the brabs either...been testing it for leaks for 3 days now...with a eheim 1250 pumping through it...mine is nice and flat on the bottom to total indcator reading of .001.......but as far as in the core contact area its not even out a .0001
dont get me wroung i dont like having a crack into one of my screws...but i dont see it causing a problem at all....but i may still get DD to send me a new top...but i believe if u tightin a new top down it will do the same thing again...unless u change the grove that the o-ring seats in |
i noticed i could twist the barbs off.

yeah i thought so to.
i think ill put dab of silicone or something on it. |
t-tape amd screw the hose barbs in a full 2 rotations. or untill they just get snug. Not tight. Remember the hose barbs are tapered. If you screw them in to tight the force from the taper will crack the acrylic.
|
thanks fixittt i try that
