Running a DangerDen Maze2-2 without a peltier???

Is this possible to do?... Should I just put some thermal grease between the waterblock and the coldplate? Will that be almost as good as the waterblock itself?

Will that be good enough to cool my T-Bird 1.5Ghz?

Thanks for all the help.

If you are not running a peltier you won't need a cold plate. In fact the cold plate may hamper cooling with out the peltier.

Check out DangerDen instructions here

I think the cold plate is just screwed into the block, so just remove it. I was thinking about getting the Maze2-1 in case I ever choose to go peltier.
