DD5 temp sensors and Maze3

ok, ive seen this done several different ways. i want to use a temp probe from my dd5 on my cpu core because ive heard the motherboard ones are inacurate, but im not sure how to get it onto/close to my cpu. im not interested in cutting up my socket. is there anyone out there with a good technique for this? any suggestions appreciated.

Simply tape it down like this. I used some packing tape to hold mine down. and I took some scissors and trimmed the plastic back from the tip so that the actual thermistor was as close as possible to the core. Worked great.
