Moved the pump power cord to the back of the motherboard tray. I'll have to check the earlier thread, but whoever's suggestion that was, thanx a bunch, it worked very well. Oh yeah, the pump's turned around, too

im planning on doing the same thing with my power cord and IDE cables to reduce the mess around my MoBo. damn i gotta finish my rig and get some pics up LOL!!

One question, what do you guys do to isolate your pumps from vibration and such? The Eheim is very quiet, but if I remove it from my case, and simply hold it in my hand while it's running, it's completely silent! I'd like a way to keep the pump attached fairly securely to the case, with as much rubber/foam/sponge as possible, I suppose. Any other ideas?

i tested a few things i had lying around (bubble wrap, white foam, mousepad, etc.), and for me the white foam was the best; it completely isolated the pumps vibration.
